Mine Drift
Minesweeper that never makes you guess, and a second mode where the minefield moves.
LIVING FIELD (main mode)
Same rules as the classic field, but the field is alive. Every 5 turns the wind pulses and each mine tries to move one cell. The wind cycles North, East, South, West. Mines never move into revealed cells, and flagged mines stay anchored. Numbers that change flash briefly. If nothing can be deduced, a star marks a safe cell.
CLASSIC MINEFIELD
A 9×12 board with 16 mines. Every board is checked by a solver, so it can always be cleared by logic alone, with no 50/50 guesses.
HOW TO PLAY
• Reveal every cell that has no mine.
• Your first tap is always safe, and so is the 3×3 area around it.
• Numbers count the mines touching that cell.
• Tap a finished number to open its remaining neighbours (chording).
• Mouse: left-click reveals, right-click flags.
• Touch: use the Reveal / Flag button to switch what a tap does.
FEATURES
• Guess-free boards in both modes
• Light and dark themes
• Retro 8-bit sound effects generated in the browser, with volume and mute controls
• English, Português (Brasil) and Español
• Plays in the browser on desktop and mobile
PRIVACY
The game sends anonymous gameplay statistics (mode played, language, device type, country) so we can see how it is played. There is no account, no session recording and no tracking ID, so nothing links your visits together. Your settings (language, theme, sound) are saved only in your browser.
AI DISCLOSURE
This game was built with the help of generative AI tools, including code, text and pixel-art icons. Game design, testing and curation were done by a human.
